Posted on Jul 26, 2013

Sutter Delta Medical Center has received a green light from the City of Antioch to expand its parking access for patients and visitors.empty painted parking lot stalls

“We have heard feedback from our community, and realized we needed more parking available for our patients, visitors and employees,” says Tim Bouslog, director of facilities at the medical center. “Sutter Delta is home to one of the busiest emergency rooms in the Bay Area. We are also East County’s only STEMI receiving facility, so we know our medical center gets very busy. The additional parking will help ease congestion for our patients and visitors.”

The expansion calls for an additional 70 parking stalls that will run adjacent to Lone Tree Way, and will include an entrance off Ridge Rock Drive. Grading and excavation will begin Monday, Aug. 5, with an expected completion date of Oct. 14.
